On October 12, 2015 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of precious metals:

• Three silver coins in denomination of 1 Rouble (catalogue numbers 5109-0111, 5109-0112 and 5109-0113) of the series „The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” (Surface Fleet of the Navy).
  

Silver proof coins in denomination of 1 Rouble (fine metal content 7.78 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 25.0 mm, mintage 5000 pcs of each design) have the rim raised on both sides of the coins along the circumference. The edge of the coins is corrugated.

The obverse: 

a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it „БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coins „ОДИН РУБЛЬ” (ONE ROUBLE) and the year of issue „2015”, between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Moscow mint and fine precious metal content.

The reverse:

• of the first coin bears a relief image of a medium-sized emblem of the Russian Federation Navy. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „НАДВОДНЫЕ СИЛЫ” (SURFACE FLEET);
• >of the second coin depicts a relief image of the sailing-rowing frigate „Apostle Peter”. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „НАДВОДНЫЕ СИЛЫ” (SURFACE FLEET);
• of the third coin has relief images of the frigate „Admiral Gorshkov of the Soviet Union fleet” and a helicopter. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „НАДВОДНЫЕ СИЛЫ” (SURFACE FLEET).
  

The coins are legal tender of the Russian Federation. They are obligatory for acceptance for all kinds of payments without any restrictions at their face value.

Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trademark of a mint and fine precious metal content.

On the obverse side of the gold proof-like coin in denomination of 10000 Roubles there is an ordinal number of the coin with indication of the sign „№” in the lower part of it next to the fine precious metal content indication.

The edge of the coins is corrugated.

• of a silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles bears a relief image of a lying elk against a background of the water surface and a forest. There is an inscription along the circumference on top — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles depicts relief images of two elks at the moment of a duel against a background of the water surface and a forest. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a silver proof-like coin in denomination of 100 Roubles bears relief images of two elks against a background of the water surface, a forest, a wolf and birds. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a gold proof coin in denomination of 50 Roubles depicts a relief image of an elk’s head. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a gold proof coin in denomination of 100 Roubles bears a relief image of an elk against a background of a forest. There is an inscription along the circumference on top on the right — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a gold proof coin in denomination of 200 Roubles depicts a relief image of an elk against a background of the water surface, a forest and a bear. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD);
• of a gold proof-like coin in denomination of 10000 Roubles bears relief images of a female elk and two elk-calves against a background of the water surface and a forest. There is an inscription along the circumference at the bottom — „СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР” (SAVE OUR WORLD).

On September 23, 2015 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of precious metals:

• Silver proof coins in denomination of 3 and 25 Roubles and a gold proof coin in denomination of 50 Roubles of the Historical series “The 2000th Anniversary of Derbent’s foundation, the Republic of Dagestan” (catalogue numbers are 5111-0299, 5115-0111 and 5216-0106 respectively);

   

Description of the coins of precious metals:

A silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 39.0 mm, mintage 3000 pcs), a silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles (fine metal content 155.5 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 60.0 mm, mintage 1000 pcs) and a gold proof coin in denomination of 50 Roubles (fine metal content 7.78 g, fineness 999/1000, diameter 22.6 mm, mintage 1000 pcs) dedicated to the 2000th Anniversary of Derbent’s foundation (the Republic of Dagestan) have the rim raised on both sides of the coins along the circumference. The inscription on the top along the circumference says “2000-ЛЕТИЕ ОСНОВАНИЯ ГОРОДА ДЕРБЕНТА” (THE 2000th ANNIVERSARY OF DERBENT’S FOUNDATION);

• of the gold 50 Roubles coin bears the relief image of the Derbent’s coat of arms. The inscription along the circumference says “2000-ЛЕТИЕОСНОВАНИЯ ГОРОДА ДЕРБЕНТА” (THE 2000th ANNIVERSARY OF DERBENT’S FOUNDATION).

 

On September 22, 2015 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issued commemorative coin of base metals:

Perugia in the second issue of the Italian Series of Arts.

Obverse: view of Perugia, from the fresco First translation of the body of St. Ercolano from the place of first burial to the church of St. Peter by Benedetto Bonfigli (ca. 1445- 1496) for the Chapel of the Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia; on the right, the name of the designer “U. PERNAZZA”, around, “REPUBBLICA ITALIANA”.

The Fête de la Fédération of the 14 July 1790 was a celebration to commemorate the first anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille and the unity of the French Nation.

The Fête de la Fédération in Paris was the most prominent event of a series of spontaneous celebrations all over France: from August 1789, Fédérations appeared in towns and countryside; on 5 June 1790, with lots of individual feasts to celebrate the unity of all French people.

The face design features the profile of Marianne, the embodiment of the Republic, wearinga Phrygian cap. On the left side of the face, there is a verse of the work of the French poet Paul Eluard Liberty.

The second two-euro commemorative coin of 2015 will pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Flag of Europe. The special coin will be launched on 6 August with a mintage of 500,000 in Finland. This is the fourth commemorative two-euro coin released together by the euro countries. 

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the birth of Bruce Lee, the Perth Mint is exited to present two coin releases.

Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco's Chinatown on November 27, 1940 to parents from Hong Kong. He was raised in Kowloon with his family until his late teens. He was introduced to the film industry by his father and appeared in several films as a child actor. Lee moved back to the United States at the age of 18 to receive his higher education, at the University of Washington in Seattle. During this time he first began teaching martial arts. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of artistry, popularity and acclaim, sparking a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West during the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in the United States, Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

On the occasion of the XVII edition of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, the Mint of Poland is proud to present an exceptional commemorative coin dedicated to the world-famous Polish pianist and composer of the Romantic era.

Chopin’s portrait derived from his famous statue located in Warsaw’s Royal Baths Park constitutes a central motif of this magnificent silver coin. The monument has a simple, yet deeply expressive form.
