The Mint of Poland is delighted to present the fourth coin from the series  Forest Babies which will take you on a journey to a fabulous atmosphere of a virgin forest.

The coin “European Bison” is a work of art created by a young Polish artist and was precisely reprinted from a drawing  with the help of advanced digital technology. This charming coin is offered in an exceptional packaging maintained in a style characteristic for colorful cardboard books dedicated to the young audience.

In the central part of the obverse– the effigy of  Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Below – inscriptions: Ag 999 (the hallmark), m/w (the mint mark). Along the rim – inscriptions: ELIZABETH II, NIUE ISLAND (the issuer), the face value: 1 DOLLAR and the year of issue: 2014.

The reverse depicts a multi-colored image of a baby Bison in the bosom of nature. Above, along the left side of the rim – an inscription: European Bison (the name of the coin). Below – the name of the series: FOREST BABIES.
