In an exciting new initiative, Wizards of the Coast is partnering with New Zealand Mint, to release Magic: The Gathering® Collector Coins in precious metals. 

Magic: The Gathering® is the first and most widely played trading card game with more than 12 million players and fans in more than 70 countries worldwide. These limited edition coins make ideal Magic: The Gathering® collector gifts.

Orders will be despatched in order of receipt commencing from May 01, 2014, with expectation that all orders will be shipped by May 15^th

Struck in precious metal, this coin features original colour artwork by artist Jason Chan, used on the powerful Jace, the Mind Sculptor Planeswalker card from the Magic: The Gathering Worldwake release.

Jace Beleren is a Planeswalker who wields blue magic. His specialty is mental magic: spells of mind-reading, illusion, knowledge, and deception. Curiosity has always gotten the better of Jace Beleren.

As a specialist in mind magic, he uses his abilities to find out even closely guarded secrets. His mind magic has helped him discover the existence of Planeswalkers and of worlds beyond his own.

Reverse: This coin face features original colour artwork by artist Jason Chan. This art was used on the powerful Jace, the Mind Sculptor Planeswalker card from the Magic: The Gathering Worldwake release. Jace is depicted against a relief engraved background and border design.

Obverse: This features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is issued by New Zealand Mint as legal tender, under the authority of Niue.

Each coin is individually packaged, with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The coins are packaged in a protective inner display case, and housed in high quality branded card outer.
