In December 2013, Royal Mint of Spain introduced a silver coin «Royal Monastery of the Incarnation» of the series «National Heritage».
The Royal Monastery of the Incarnation or Real Monasterio de la Encarnación is a convent of the order of Recolet Augustineslocated in Madrid, Spain. The institution mainly interned women from noble families, and was founded by the Queen Margaret of Austria, wife of Philip III, and thus was well endowed with wealth. Although it belongs to an enclosed religious order, the building is open to the public under the administration of the Patrimonio Nacional.
The obverse of a coin reproduces an image of the Royal Crown and legends «2013 SPAIN NATIONAL HERITAGE».
On the back of the coin features an image of the main facade of the Royal Monastery of the Incarnation, in the city of Madrid.
