National Bank of Romania, on 1 September 2014, the National Bank of Romania will put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, a set comprising three coins (made of gold, silver and copper-plated tombac), as well as a silver coin, dedicated to the anniversary of 150 years since the birth of Ion I. C. Brătianu.
Obverse: the image of Florica mansion, where Ion I.C. Brătianu was born, the inscription “ROMANIA” in an arc, the face value “100 LEI”, the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue “2014”.
Reverse: the portrait of Ion I.C. Brătianu, his birth and death years, “1864” and “1927” respectively, and the inscription “ION I.C. BRATIANU” in an arc.
