The Central Bank of Peru on the 6th of August 2014 has put into circulation the 17th coin of the Numismatic Series "Wealth and Pride of Peru" alluding to the "HUACA DE LA LUNA".

The front shows a characteristic, beautifully decorated wall of the Temple of the Moon (Huaca de la Luna) bu lt by the Moche culture in northern Peru. The temple belongs to the archaeological site of "The Temple of the Sun and of the Moon" (Huaca del Sol y de la Luna) located close to Trujillo.

Obverse: Coat of Arms.
Reverse: Denomination and the reason for alluding to HUACA DE LA LUNA.
