The Adventure of the Gloria Scott, by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is one of 56 short stories featuring detective Sherlock Holmes, and is the fifth vessel to feature in the Famous Ships That Never Sailed collector coin series.

The Famous Ships That Never Sailed – Gloria Scott 2014 1oz Silver Proof Coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, and features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2014 year-date on the obverse.
