The second two-euro commemorative coin of 2015 will pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Flag of Europe. The special coin will be launched on 6 August with a mintage of 500,000 in Finland. This is the fourth commemorative two-euro coin released together by the euro countries. 

6 августа монетный двор Финляндии начал продажи новой памятной монеты номиналом 2 евро, посвященной 30-летию флага ЕС. Тираж монет в качестве UNC составит 489 000 тыс. шт., в качестве proof — 11 000 шт. Диаметр — 25.75 мм, вес — 8.5 мм, толщина — 2.2 мм.

Победителем конкурса на лучший дизайн монеты в честь 30-летия флага Евросоюза стал проект  художника Банка Греции Георгиоса Стаматопулоса (Georgios Stamatopoulos). За него в ходе онлайн голосования было отдано 30% голосов. Напомним, что профессиональным жюри было отобрано 5 проектов монет из 62, представленных монетными дворами Европы.

В текущем году 19 стран — членов еврозоны, должны  выпустить в обращение новые 2-евровые монеты в честь 30-летия флага ЕС.

Это будет четвёртый общеевропейский выпуск памятных монет. В 2007 году были эмитированы монеты, приуроченные к 50-летию Римского договора, в 2009 году — в честь 10-летия Экономического и валютного союза, а в 2012 году — в честь 10-летия наличного обращения евро.

Канадский королевский монетный двор отчеканил инновационную монету в честь своего культового национального символа.

Номинал монеты – 20 канадских долларов, драгоценный металл – серебро (чистота - 99,99%), качество чеканки – «пруф», масса – 31,5 г, диаметр – 38 мм, тираж - 15000 штук.

На аверсе монеты «Канадский кленовый лист» отчеканен портрет Ее Величества королевы Великобритании Елизаветы II работы Сюзанны Блант (Susanna Blunt). Вокруг него выгравированы надписи - «ELIZABETH II», «CANADA», «D • G • REGINA».

На реверсе серебряной монеты в две строки указан номинал – «20 DOLLARS» и обозначен год чеканки – «2015».

Монету можно купить на Канадском королевском монетном дворе за 149,95 канадских долларов. Однако при покупке действует ограничение: монету могут заказать только дилеры из Канады и США.

Австралийский монетный двор г. Перта в августе выпустил памятные монеты, посвященные Брюсу Ли. Эмитентом выступило государство Тувалу.

Монета номиналом 1 доллар отчеканена тиражом 5000 экземпляром из серебра 999-й пробы. Диаметр — 40,6 мм, вес — 31,135 г, толщина — 4 мм, качество чеканки — пруф. На реверсе изображен портрет Брюса Ли в боевой позе, выполненный цветной эмалью, год рождения «1940» и год выпуска монеты «2015», имя актера «BRUCE LEE», надпись «75 YEARS» и знак монетного двора «P».

Монета номиналом 25 долларов отчеканена тиражом 1000 экземпляром из золота высшей пробы. Диаметр — 20,6 мм, вес — 7,7777 г, толщина — 2 мм, качество чеканки — пруф. На реверсе изображен портрет Брюса Ли в боевоv прыжке, год рождения «1940» и год выпуска монеты «2015», имя актера «BRUCE LEE», надпись «75 YEARS» и знак монетного двора «P».

На аверсах традиционный портрет королевы Елизаветы II, номинал, год чеканки, технические параметры монеты и название страны-эмитента.

Монеты продаются в капсулаю и подарочных футлярах с сертификатами. На сайте монетного двора 1 доллар можно купить за 99 AUD, 25 долларов за 659 AUD.

Брюс Ли (Bruce Lee) родился 27 ноября 1940 в г. Сан-Франциско. В мире известен как популяризатор и реформатор в области китайских боевых искусств, гонконгский и американский киноактёр, режиссёр, сценарист, продюсер, постановщик боевых сцен и философ.

Сниматься в кино начал с детства, всего снялся в 36 фильмах. Популяризовал восточные боевые искусства в западных странах во второй половине XX века. Стал широко известен в области боевых искусств и вызвал множество подражателей в кино и на телевидении. О жизни и творчестве Брюса Ли в мире было снято около 30 фильмов.

Bruce Lee was born in San Francisco's Chinatown on November 27, 1940 to parents from Hong Kong. He was raised in Kowloon with his family until his late teens. He was introduced to the film industry by his father and appeared in several films as a child actor. Lee moved back to the United States at the age of 18 to receive his higher education, at the University of Washington in Seattle. During this time he first began teaching martial arts. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of artistry, popularity and acclaim, sparking a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West during the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in the United States, Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

On the occasion of the XVII edition of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, the Mint of Poland is proud to present an exceptional commemorative coin dedicated to the world-famous Polish pianist and composer of the Romantic era.

On July 31, 2015 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of precious metal silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles — „Works of Michelangelo Buonarroti” (catalogue number 5115-0110) of the series „Treasury of World Culture”.

A silver proof coin in denomination of 25 Roubles (fine metal content 155.5 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 60.0 mm, mintage 1000 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it „БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin „ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ” (TWENTY FIVE ROUBLES) and the year of issue „2015”, between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Saint Petersburg mint and fine precious metal content.

The reverse sideof the coin depicts relief images of the sculpture „Pieta” in the center and a facade of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican on the right; images of the paintings of the Sistine Chapel ceiling in Vatican performed in colour on top and a fragment of a portrait of Michelangelo Buonarroti on the left. There is an inscription along the circumference — „ТВОРЕНИЯ МИКЕЛАНДЖЕЛО БУОНАРРОТИ” (WORKS OF MICHELANGELO BUONARROTI).

The coins are legal tender of the Russian Federation. They are obligatory for acceptance for all kinds of payments without any restrictions at their face value.

Банк России 31 июля 2015 года выпускает в обращение памятные монеты из драгоценных металлов  серебряную номиналом 25 рублей «Творения Микеланджело Буонарроти» серии «Сокровищница мировой культуры».

На лицевой стороне монеты в круге, обрамленном бусовым ободком, расположено рельефное изображение эмблемы Банка России — двуглавого орла с опущенными крыльями, под ним надпись полукругом «БАНК РОССИИ», а также по окружности имеются надписи, разделенные точками: номинал монеты — «ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ» и дата — «2015 г.», между ними проставлены обозначение металла по Периодической системе элементов Д.И. Менделеева, проба сплава, Санкт-Петербургского товарный знак монетного двора и масса драгоценного металла в чистоте.

На оборотной стороне монеты расположены: рельефные изображения скульптуры «Пьета» — в центре и фасада собора Святого Петра в Ватикане в Риме — справа; выполненные в цвете изображения росписей сводов Сикстинской капеллы в Ватикане в Риме — вверху и фрагмента портрета Микеланджело Буонарроти — слева, вверху имеется надпись по окружности «ТВОРЕНИЯ МИКЕЛАНДЖЕЛО БУОНАРРОТИ».

Боковая поверхность монеты рифленая. Монета изготовлена качеством «пруф». Тираж монеты — 1,0 тыс. штук.

• A silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 39.0 mm, mintage 3000 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

  The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it „БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin „ТРИ РУБЛЯ” (THREE ROUBLES) and the year of issue „2015”, between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I.
