On March 3, 2014 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of:

Precious metals:
— A silver proof coin 3 Roubles, a silver proof-like coin 100 Roubles and a gold proof coin 50 Roubles of the historical series
— "The Centenary of the Unity of Russia and Tuva and of the Foundation of Kyzyl City".

Base metals:
— In denomination of 10 Roubles — "Saratov Region" of the series "The Russian Federation".

Description of the coins of precious metals:

A silver proof coin 3 Roubles (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 39.0 mm, mintage 3000 pcs),a silver proof-like coin 100 Roubles (fine metal content 1000.0 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 100.0 mm, mintage 200 pcs) and a gold proof coin 50 Roubles (fine metal content 7.78 g, fineness 999/1000, diameter 22.6 mm, mintage 1000 pcs), have the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.

The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — the two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed by a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coins "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE ROUBLES), "ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ" (FIFTY ROUBLES), "СТО РУБЛЕЙ" (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES) respectively and the year of issue "2014", between them — an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, the purity, the trade mark of the Saint Petersburg mint and the fine precious metal content.

The reverse side:
— of the silver proof coin bearsrelief images of Kyzyl City panoramic view against a background of mountains. An inscription along the circumference says — "100-ЛЕТИЕ ЕДИНЕНИЯ РОССИИ И ТУВЫ И ОСНОВАНИЯ г. КЫЗЫЛА" (THE CENTENARY OF THE UNITY OF RUSSIA AND TUVA AND OF THE FOUNDATION OF KYZYL CITY);
— of the silver proof-like coin depicts relief images of a women with a child against a background of a yurt and inhabitants of Tuva in their local life scenes. The inscription along the circumference at the bottom says — "100-ЛЕТИЕ ЕДИНЕНИЯ РОССИИ И ТУВЫ И ОСНОВАНИЯ г. КЫЗЫЛА" (THE CENTENARY OF THE UNITY OF RUSSIA AND TUVA AND OF THE FOUNDATION OF KYZYL CITY);
— of the gold proof coin has arelief image of Tuva emblem.

The coin is 27.0 mm in diameter, combined and consists of two parts — a disc made of white metal and an outer ring around the disc made of yellow metal. The coin has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated and has the inscription "ДЕСЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TEN ROUBLES) recurring twice and divided by asterisks.

The obverse: In the upper part of the ring there is an inscription along the rim: "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), in the lower part — the year of issue "2014". On the left and on the right sides of the outer ring of the coin there are stylized images of a laurel tree and oak twigs respectively, going over to the disc. In the center of the disc there is an indication of the face value of the coin "10 РУБЛЕЙ" (10 ROUBLES) in two lines. Inside the figure "0" there is a protective element in the form of the figure "10" and an inscription "РУБ" (RUB) visible by turns when changing an angle of vision. In the lower part of a disc there is a mint trademark.

The reverse side of the coin has an image of Saratov Region emblem placed on the disc and inscriptions on the ring along the circumference: "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION) at the top and "САРАТОВСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ" (SARATOV REGION) at the bottom.

The mintage of the coin is 10 000 000 pcs.

The coins are legal tender of the Russian Federation. They are obligatory for acceptance for all kinds of payments without any restrictions at their face value.
