Each coin is meticulously struck from 5oz of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality.

The coin’s reverse portrays an Australian Stock Horse galloping on a rural property alongside a wooden fence. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE, the 2015 year-date, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the monetary denomination are shown on the coin’s obverse.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 99 of the Australian Stock Horse 2015 5oz Gold Proof Coin.

The coin is housed in a prestigious wooden display case, within an illustrated shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
