Obverse:
In the central part of the coin – portrait of Ilya Glazunov. In the background – landscape painting “Summer. Suzdal”. Above it – inscriptions: NIUE ISLAND (issuer). Under the portrait – inscription (stylized for a signature of the artist): Илья Глазунов (Ilya Glazunov). Along the left-hand rim – vertical inscription: ELIZABETH II and year of issue: 2015. In the left bottom corner – effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Below it – mint mark: m/w. Along the rim – face value: 1 DOLLAR and hallmark: Ag 925. 

Reverse:
The reverse depicts relief image of the painting „Russian Beauty”.
