The Mint of Poland is jubilant to announce issuing the coin dedicated to Jerzy Janowicz – one of the best Polish tennis players of all time.

The coin embellished with a multi-coloured printed image of one of the most renowned players in the world is undoubtedly an unforgettable gift for every lover of tennis and a precious item in every sports fan’s collection. The sports spirit of this extraordinary position is complemented by its offbeat packaging in the shape of a tennis ball accompanied by a tennis-stylized certificate.

On the obverse – a profile effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the left – a tennis racket hitting a ball. Below – the mint mark: m/w. Along the rim – inscriptions: ELIZABETH II, NIUE ISLAND (the issuer), 2014 (the year of issue) and the face value: 1 DOLLAR.
