Obverse: Fifth crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, legend around. Reverse Standing figure of Britannia facing left, holding trident in right hand, olive branch and shield with Union flag in left, legend around. Several issues of coins were minted with a small "Trident" emblem in different places of the coin, in accordance with a certain event (The year of the monkey, The year of the rooster, the 20th anniversary of the "Britannia"silver coin).
